Select the Hand-in page from the left-hand side of Teacher Portal, and choose your class using the filters at the top of the page.
Information about how a student is progressing with their current Compulsory homework will be visible in the Compulsory column where the progress bar will gradually fill in green as work is completed. The time at the end of the bar also shows active time* spent doing their Compulsory homework.
A red section on the progress bar indicates that a student has got a question wrong and a blue section means that a help video has been watched, but they still have not completed the task. Teachers can use this information to gauge if a student is particularly struggling before the work is due and offer support if needed.
You can use the Hand-in page to look through a student's Answer History by clicking on the green bar next to their name, or the arrow on the far right of the row.
Attempts for tasks are grouped together, meaning you can see the status of each question, with information on how many attempts the student has made, whether they have used the support videos, and if the questions is correct or incorrect. By default, this is ordered by most recently attempted tasks, but clicking on the attempts header will sort by tasks with the most attempts first.
The Completion day column will show you when the student completed their Compulsory homework, in relation to the hand-in day.
The XP Boost and Targets column will also show percentages to show how much of the package the student has completed, and will show a green tick if this is 100%.
*More information on how this time is calculated can be found by clicking the Page information link at the bottom of the hand in page, and selecting the Time spent dropdown.
