Sometimes it might be necessary to permanently change the length or type of homework for an individual student.
To do this from the Teacher Portal homepage, select Student Manager from the More menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
From here, you can select a student from the list, search for them by class from the top left of the screen or search for an individual student by entering their name in the search at the top right of the screen.
When the chosen student is visible on the main page, select the orange pencil icon next to the name, which will allow you to edit that student's details.
At the bottom of the edit page, use the section called Homework type to choose what type of homework to set for the individual student: Compulsory, Half Length, or Optional only. Remember to save your changes.
Note: Any changes made here will override the homework type set for the class.
Homework length can be permanently changed to any 10-minute increment between 30-90 minutes of homework. If you would like to change the default length of homework that your classes will receive, please get in touch at email@example.com and we can set a new homework length for you.
