Using your feedback, at the end of May 2021 we reworked over 250 new topics across KS3, GCSE and the four supported IGCSE curriculums to improve how Sparx content maps to your schemes of learning.
This spreadsheet, which includes searchable codes for each topic, automatically updates every time new topics are released and now shows the new, split out topics. If you want to see what the topics were previously, then a full list of Key Stage 3 and GCSE topics we have split out can be found here.
The existing topics will continue to be available for use in Sparx Maths Homework and Classroom throughout your academic year so there is no need for you to make any changes to your homework or lessons planner.
How will this look in the product when building a scheme of learning?
When you start to create or update your schemes of learning for the next academic year, you will need to replace the old topics with any of the split out topics you would like to use. The old topics will be tagged to help you identify them, such as in the example below. You can then see suggested replacement topics by viewing the topic description.
Please do let us know if you have any further suggestions of topics that would benefit from splitting out, as we are continually evolving our content to best suit your needs.
