Why isn’t homework showing for my student?

Students were added to the class after the latest homework was set

When a student is added to a new class in Sparx they will see the next homework that is set, not the one that is currently out. If they were already using Sparx then they may have homework to complete from their previous class, otherwise, they could work on Independent Learning until the next homework is set.

Homework hasn't been set yet

Check that the hand-out day and times are as expected by going to the Planner page for the class the student is in.

Homework hasn't finished generating yet

Homework can take a few minutes to generate, so if the homework set time has only just passed, ask the student to wait ten minutes and then refresh their page.

The last homework was set longer than 48 days ago

If homework has not been set for 48 days or more then students will no longer see any work when they log in. Find out more in our article: How long do students have to complete their homework?
