Why is the information on my student's homework different to the information on my Sparx site?

If in doubt, ask the student to log in in front of you or refresh the page

If a student is showing you a screenshot of their homework that doesn't match what you're seeing on your Sparx Maths site, it could be that they've asked another student to share a screenshot of their Sparx Maths site, or they could have edited the appearance of their homework using the Inspect Element tool available on most browsers. 

If this is the case, a fresh login, or a refresh will revert everything back to normal, so ask them to do this in front of you to see if anything changes. 

The video below shows how students may abuse Inspect Element (created for developers and designers to peek behind the scenes of any website) to doctor key information about their homework such as completion or XP.
