What happens if a student moves schools?

When a student leaves a Sparx school

If Sparx is integrated with your school MIS via Wonde, you don't need to make any changes to your Sparx site. When the student is removed from your school's MIS, they will lose access to Sparx during the next sync. 

When a student moves to a Sparx school

When a student is added to the MIS, their account will appear on Sparx at the next sync. They will then be able to set up their account as a new Sparx user. 

Please note that if the student has moved from another Sparx school, this new account will not be linked with their previous account in any way, and they will appear on Sparx as a new student:

• If they have yet to be removed from their previous school's Sparx site, they will still be able to set up an account at their new school
• Their XP level will be zero as they are a new user
• Sparx will not retail any information on the student's working level or speed from their previous school. They will be assigned the initial level of the class they join, and Sparx will assess an automatic level over the following weeks.
