Question swaps allow students to swap to an easier question if they are struggling
Students have 3 question swaps available to them in each homework.
We still encourage students to have a good attempt at the question, and use the support videos available before offering them the opportunity to swap to an easier version of the question.
After a student has incorrectly answered a question 3 times, and has watched the support video for a minimum of 15 seconds they will be offered a "Swap".
You can view question swaps on the Hand-in page of your Sparx site
You can see how when a student uses a swap on a question on the Answer history section of the Hand in Page.
You will see information about the original question, when the student chose to swap the question, and how they have performed on the new question.
