What happens if a student moves class?

They will be in their new class on your Sparx site the day after you've made the change on your MIS

• If Sparx is integrated with your school MIS via Wonde, you don't need to make any changes in your Sparx site. Just make the change on your school's MIS as normal, and we will sync overnight so that the studnt will appear in their new class on Student Manager the following day.

They will be in their new class on the Hand-in Page as soon as a new homework is set for them

• On the Hand in Page the student will show in whichever class they were in when homework was set, so they might still appear in their old class if that's where they were on the hand-out day
• As soon as they've been set a homework in their new class, they will appear in that class list. 
• If your hand-out days are different for different classes and the student moves between those days, it's possible for the student to have 2 homeworks set that week

They will see homework topics for their new class

• As soon as they have a homework handed out in their new class, they will see whatever topics are in that class's homework plan
• They will also see Consolidation topics based on the homework plan for their new class, including topics that might have been set to that class before they moved into it

They will take their XP with them

Whether a student moves classes mid-year or moves to a new year group at the end of an academic year, they will keep any XP they've earned.
